Attorney Sullivan & Associates LLC was formed in early 2020 by Peter Sullivan, an attorney with over 25 years’ prior divorce law experience at elite law firms.
At Attorney Sullivan & Associates, you will have one-on-one access to the services of an attorney who worked at top law firms for decades. As part of his early training, Peter worked at a premiere New York criminal defense firm that litigated insider trading indictments, contract disputes, shareholder proxy contests and international law claims. For 12 years after, Attorney Sullivan worked with one of New York’s most respected divorce law firms handling high-end cases. After his later migration to Chicago he was an associate, then a partner at one of Chicago’s leading divorce firms for a total of 13 years. Peter left each position voluntarily, seeking new challenges each time.
Having recently launched his solo law firm, he has put himself in a position to steer his own course, engage clients on a one-on-one basis, and run a client-centric law firm. His practice is unhampered by the cultural and administrative constraints of a large law firm and without obligation to delegate any part of your legal work to less experienced attorneys.
Civic minded by nature, Peter believes it is the duty of every lawyer to contribute to the improvement of the profession, not just to meet its minimum requirements. Throughout his career, he has carried a significant pro bono workload and made the effort to keep current with the latest legal developments with leading bar associations. As a result of his long activity in these areas, Peter is well-prepared to spot new issues and will exercise exceptional diligence in your matter.
